I ran twin Monster Maxx motors in that thing until they burned up after 2 and a half runs, stupid pieces of junk. I tried using the HTI 700 or 750 or whatever the heck size it is, but it flat out stinks. No real torque, even less rpm. Granted it'd wake up with more cells, but screw it. I'm also too poor to do another BL plunge right now, I think I'd have to wait at least until Christmas for enough cash to do it, but I know it'd be cool. Sadly, that truck is constantly on the "possible selling list" due to bills, and because of the cruddy current running state......oh well.

Hi Serum,

Mostly, I am using 12 cells & 14 cells. I have tried 6S Lipo & have also made up 2 pcs of 8 cell packs that will be wired in series to give 16 cells. Couldn't try the 16 cell packs as the steering servo horn horn got stripped the ast time I ran the truck.

However, the 6s Lipo was pretty hairy. That is why I have dropped the truck lower as shown in the pictures. The front end just want to lift off at speed.

Here is an older pic.

Regards,
Joe Ling

Here are some pics of my G-Maxx. Maybe not. How do you post pics? This will have to do for now.
