Indeed 48 mph. i realized i never actually did have my pack peaked... i had it at 4.1v per cell. i just set the charger to delta peak and the cells are each at 4.19

What kind of temperatures are you seeing on the motor, ESC and batteries?

Ugh well my temp gun got trashed(spilled epoxy on it..) but the batteries had absolutely NO heat in them, the esc was pretty warm but i could hold i finger on it. the motor was HOT. but that was partially my fault b/c i increased timing on it.

Was the motor running cool before you increased the timing?

Hmm, do you think maybe the motor is a bit fast?

it could be, but mind you this motor has no heatsink, no fan on it, same with the esc (yet) running on 5s. you cant expect it to stay ice cold :D

So the zippy packs work good then? I was considering them for some of my RCs (and possibly a big project)...

Could you measure the distance between the mounting holes on the front? I may have come up with a cunning plan.

Right now im at my Nana's house with the raze, ill scan the little spec sheet that came with the motor for you. What might this plan b?

Ive run 2 packs through the raze today, my rear tires are slicks now... but the problem is i keep losing hardware... never to be found again

Maybe have Mike make you a heatsink to put on the spinning part of the motor, then it would also create a huge fan blowing on all other components which should (hopefully) make them run cooler as well. May totally not work but it was worth throwing it out there.

Get me back into RC!
