What servo are you going to use? 645?

I don't see a balancer adpater - did you get one of these? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/18244

How are you going to wire in the cap's? be careful if intending to solder onto MM - They use lead free solder and the board is a good heatsink.

Yup. 645. I did get one, it's just hard to see in the pics. I'm going to hardwire the caps onto the MM and have the battery plug into them.

I would do some reading up on soldering directly to the MM lest you toast your controller...

PS before you open the 645 it might be worth looking on ebay I picked up a 5955 for 80...

Given that ST is famous for it's steering ability a 645 is a bit slow (.2) / LT (133) IMO - even the new 7955 can be had for 92

I personally to be safe would just make an adapter.

But if you make an adapter the caps start getting away from the board and deminsh their function...

It's a compromise but i think I'd shorten the CC power leads to an 1" and then direct solder the leads together...

All depends on your tools and soldering ability....

If BrianG is listening this is a good time to jump in!

Ya thats why I shortened the one side of the cap board way more than the other. Direct soldering 1inch away from the MM's board isnt a bad idea.

Beleive it or not its a 330uf 50v board with 6 caps. I tested it a few times and I am very pleased with the results of the temp decline on the MM.

Yeah, the power wires on the MM are going to be very short.

Little update- got the MM and the RX in the mail! Got it mounted, but as some of you know I got a dud Castle Link, so I am going to go to the LHS tomorrow and see if I can trade it in. So, all I have to do now is have a soldering party and get a new Castle Link, then I'll be ready to roll!

Well, the software doesn't work on my computer, says that there is no controller of an invalid controller connected. Stupid.
