Yeah, the rhythm section looks tough as does the big triple on the back straight. I think the brushless will have the power to clear it, I'm more worried about how narrow it is...or looks in this pic...plus any big jump near a fence or pole can be trouble.

Alright, my Neu 1515/2Y/F will be here tomorrow and the grinding work will start .

Edit: Even the Mega ACn22/45/3 should be here. Things are looking good again.

Would you guys allow a lowly Nitro powered Revo the opportunity to compete?

I do have a brushless buggy but I only have one battery for it.

Nitro is allowed (um, tolerated in my book) in all classes except the "Brushless Open" class...

Bring em both!

Well its only fair since we tolerate electrics at the pin shop lol.

What kind of creations run in the brushless open class?

If my friend E-mikey lets me borrow his battery I will bring both.

It's not really that wild...most guys just run the same vehicle they run in another class. Hard part is that it does double wear per round if you run the same vehicle in two classes plus you need twice the battery...

IMO it's best to have some nitros running at the bash! Part of the idea behind the bash is to showcase our brushless beasts isn't it? Aren't we supposed to be showing that electric can be every bit as powerful and fast as a nitro burning RC? I really hope that this doesn't wind up being a pro race, getting coverage from rc driver may bring some big names for us to compete against, might not but there is a chance. I also hope the weather holds out cause if I check the weather the night before and it says rain I'm not driving 4 hours to not run my truck!

So we are under 1 week away, Sunday weather so far looks good - what's the tally? Who is going and what are you running?

I'm going for sure, I'll be running my E-Revo in MT and I'm considering running my E-CRT in both Truggy and Brushless Open...however last year that was not a wise choice and the wear meant that I DNF'd both mains. I think if it comes down to it, I'd rather run Brushless open rather than the Truggy class but for now I'm hoping to run all three.

Weather in CT might be good but the forecasts I'm looking at for Chester, NY are calling for rain on Sunday. Hopefully that changes!!! If it does I'll be running my E-REVO and CRT.5

we just ran our wild nitro revo in a race, this past weekend, at the barn. we had NO PROBLEM clearing each and every jump(including the triple on the back side). so, with all the rip that brushless trucks have, it'll be no problem. you'll really enjoy the LONG front straight.........only casuality that we had was a split rear rocker and a cracked upper/front control arm..........still managed to finish the 20min A-MAIN in 3rd place out of 8 racers........

If it does rain, will the Bash be held on the next Sunday?

The indoor track at the Barn is pretty small. They run 1/10th on it...an E-MT or E-Truggy would be kind of big on that track...

However it would be nice to know how things will be handled in case of bad weather.

I just hope it clearly goes on way or another. I hate being on the fence, especially considering I have a 2 hour trek.
