At least I am missed! Seems like para and Jerry2kone were trying to fill the "void" I left... Can't send some boys to do a man's job, at least that is what she said! (that was para's mom, BTW - I touched her whale)

TD, I like the 4 stroke idea, always better to have twice as many strokes....

I just ordered the TDR lst motor mount to replace the L bracket I made for my lst. I was very happy with his single speed adapter, you may want to look into that if you do not want to run the 2 speed setup... Not sure how torquey the 4 stroke will be, but the 2 speed may not be needed. Do you plan to retain the mech reverse and mech hi/low gears? Probably ok since you will do mech brakes.

The Dude makes nice stuff, and no one else really seems to care about the lst and converting them to brushless (FD is crap so no mention from me). Pity, cause it is a great truck, easily handles the BL power with stock tranny and diffs (not many other Monster trucks can do that). Plus it is super easy to work on, not really needed cause it is sturdy, but still nice to have a well engineered truck.

Thanks ben! Sorry about the sudden logoff yesterday. To mount it to the chassis 2 holes drilled on the bottom end of the mount would be ideal. And is that groove in the mount made for adjusting the pinion/grub screw? That was a smart idea.

yep no prob.

mounting is as easy a 2 m4 holes in the mount, and 2 holes in the chassis and some button head screws.

Thats what the slot's for :)

Ya im still in a strong debate between converting and going brushless. I would like to do the 4-stroke conversion seeing that it will be winter here for another 2-3 months theirs no point in running brushless. Our city has ran out of money for salting the roads because of the huge amounts of snowfall we got last year. But ya a 4-stroke .70 should be sweet for winter purposes and when late spring comes around Ill think about making it brushless.

Why not order after holidays? That way shipping would be much faster.
