There is really no need to flip the linkage that I can see. I'm just gonna leave it on the outside like it originally was. Works perfectly that way and then just use the rx tray the way it was supposed to be. Besides that the servo was carefully positioned to have a balanced throw with it stood up and the link on the outside. Not sure if it's all lined up right flipped tO the middle.

When things get to close bad things happen in my experience. These cars flex all over the place while they are running.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...

yea i doubt with it being that close mike will want to cahnge anything. Mine is already back on the outside and i shaved my hubs for more throw....

I ordered mine last week!! The picture was still silver, not black. I hope mine is black!!

Wish I had seen this thread first, regardless, you guys helped me anyway in the pre-sales area. Just now noticed this Truggy thread.

All my other parts arrive this week. The XT8 is sitting on my bench begging to be converted, just hope it can get along with my converted RC8.

The kits are all black - the only silver ones are prototypes and Rootar's (special request before they were annodized).

The product description says the battery tray fits most battery packs, but it would be nice if the inside dimensions were included.

"Most battery packs" will fit into a 48mm x 168mm space. :)
