I had to pull the engine on the nitro version, install an HPI pull start on the engine. While I was at it I dropped the head into the tumbler to bring the original luster back up and then milled a couple cross hatches in the head with my new $350 Proxxon MF-70 Mini-Mill. I also used the mill to make a plate for the plate style NTB conversion. Pics coming soon.
1 - Nitro Buggy
1 - Direct NTB (Nitro to Brushless) Conversion that retains disk brakes
1 - Plate (RC-Monster style) NTB conversion that has the motor handle breaking.
So far here is the propulsion I have to test. Brushless
Neumotor 1515/1Y
Neumotor 1512/2.5D
Hacker C50S Maxx
Hacker C50S 11L
Medusa Research 2200Kv 10th scale motor with heat sink
Novak HV4.5R System
Castle Mamba Max ESC
I am sure a Tekin will end up there somewhere.
Nitro - We'll see if they all fit
Nitro Star F4.1
Nitro .26 Hotbodies
Traxxas 3.3R
Should be a fun but very long test.
Under penalty of death and divorce my wife assured me that this would be the last and final Yusa buggy I purchased. :(
I see Hacker has a new motor out there,C50S with a 2500 kv,will this be added to your comparo?
finally got my Yusa done.. Just in time for My Son for Christmas..:)
Looks great, what have got going on there, motor, servos and such? The only thing I would recommend is added an inline fuel filter, take my word for it, it will save many hours of engine headaches.

Hmmm - the motor mount works great however - the rear brace needs to relocated or extended so it links up with the diff towers. Can't fit run a small pinion without having the edge of the motor bump into the brace. I may work fine for typical gearing, but I want some extra flexibility. I will keep you posted.
yea I know,. I will put a filter on.. But it already has a sintered bronze(very good filter) in the fuel tank so another is not needed..
For motor its an Infinity .27. Steering servo is a Hi Tec HS-5645mg.. http://www.shopatron.com/product/par...r=35645S/110.0.. Throttle servo is a Specktrum Z590 Hi-Torque Race Servo.. both all metel geared... I just bought a TSAIS exhaust for it too. Love the way they are so quiet..

I've seen them at http://www.harborfreight.com/ but you can just buy the milling bits and use your drill press with a 2 way adjustable drill vise works well for me.
