sweet im so glad you could reply! Does your chassis have alot of flex? That info helps alot. As far as M2 hobbies i have been to much of the club meet as im super booked all the time. But they meet in South San Francisco. Im not sure if your familiar with Nor Cal hobbies but they meet there too. heres their site http://www.m2hobbies.com/board/index.php.

Cool I will check it out.

My chassis has no Flex because of the two square bars down the middle.

Thats good because i might go with a twin setup. Since I hear that the ezruns aren't as powerful as the MMM i figure why not use two ezruns. However, it sounds like your breaking alot of parts; so are you breaking the center drive? Im don't quite remember reading but did you try just using the plastic slider shafts instead?
By the way how did you fit on revo arms? Also i remember hearing you said the car was to wide standard. So did you have to drill deeper so the ball joints could go in further?

Thanks

Dont follow you on the twin setup..?
I have broken a tooth off the center spur gear, mod 1 51 tooth steel.
I upgraded to Losi center diff but locked it up with a steel block inside and a pin.. and upgraded to LOsi center diffs. Front with 5000wt, rear is locked. I used Losi gears but I cut down the stock traxxas ones, it's in the thread somewhere. the modified output shafts is what the revo drive axles connect to, they are doing great.
Page 2 http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...6&postcount=57
The revo arms fit with minor trimming of the emaxx bulkheads, but after a collision the bulkheads broke so I am putting the strong grey ones and Ditching the titanium screws and using 5/40 steel screws.

I cut down the arms by 1/4" and re-machined the inside of the 1/5 wheel square hub by 1/4". pics in thread

Thanks , Pro

I would like to try the sliperential, but I also heard about problems with the front end..? I forget the details. I started with this setup because I wante to see if I could get some Drift action from it.

You think I could still get some Drift action from it with a Sliper ential ?

PS Very nice list of cars you have there.

Right Awn ! Start a build thread be sure to post pics

I recommend looking into Losi parts, definetly the drivetrain, although if your going to go 3s or 4s lipo you could stick with the emaxx 2spd tranny

If you run 4s or easy with 5s you will probably be ok.

OK I know it' been awhile, I did some reworking/finishing touches on my 1/8 scale rock buggy and I also built a 2.2 Berg for comping.
But I have returned and have started on my horizontal shock setup for a few reasons:
IN the hopes of fitting on a more aerodynamic -better handling body this giant body really hinders speed and handling, I cant stop building and tweaking and I love the champ car F-1 car look.

If any of you has seen a thread or knows someone that makes polycarbonate bodies or there is a how to please let me know.
I would like to form/make a GTP or Similar body like below, pic taken from my Xbox360

I haven't started a thread yet. Im kinda side tracking for now due to several reasons money, money and money. I have most of the stuff but the wheels, tires and body are gonna cost me an arm and a leg. Tomorrow I'll be going to my buddies house to get a truggy chassis designed. But for now no fifth scale stuff to pricey. But the thought of doing it is always there. I'll be constantly checking on this thread to check on progress!!!

What i planned on buying

FG Racing Audi Body
Proline Roadrage tires
Axial Oversized wheels
