Thanks for your post. I know that lots of guys on other forums have had success with just a spring change but for me, I swapped out the spring very early and still was blowing servo gears like crazy. I'm 100% sure that my 2.0 plastics were molded wrong. I've got the 1.0 plastics (and spring) now and it seems to be working so I'm staying with this setup. My advice to everyone would be to make sure your assembly can actuate when you take it out to install the other spring. If it binds or is impossible to actuate, get new plastics to go along with the spring and it will all work our fine.
