Make it your boot and go anyway

Yep, bbq is still on as far as I'm concerned. Mike said he would go, I'm there, and god knows who else! Hopefully you make it Chris. Gotta check w/ JHautz and see where he will be at. He was drving out w/ someone else I thought as well. Not too many RSVPs, but I was expecting that as accommodations are so pricey and not that many live in the area anyway.
I was mostly looking at this longterm as a tradition. I know its going to be hard for a number of people to be out the extra expense of coming up this year.

raced on the barn track a few weeks back and i can truthfully say that the track is dialed. fast and challenging...........long front straight with a raised pit lane and covered drivers stand. the race that i was in was mostly nitro but, did have about 10 elec buggies(no truggy's or mt's). the electrics cleared all the BIG jumps with no problems at all.................the track and the track management are both great..............

There is a pic of the current track somewhere on here. However I'm at work and using my phone so it's really hard to loom through dozens of threads and posts to try finding it.

I thought I had one, but I can't find it. Its a nice track and bigger than ever. Unless they redo it this week, its more lg jumps and turn and no washboard or rhythm sections. Big triple in the back.

what details were you wanting Chris, the BBQ? I need to bump that thread...

One of the nicer layouts the guys at the barn have put together in a while (IMHO) - Nice straights, rythems, and pit lane works great... Should be an awesome time again.... Looking forward to seeing you all at the track..... ( And almost forgot a nice tripple down the back stretch for a little excitement....)

Hows that "Hope and Change" working out for Ya???

Yeah rain is always a possibility in hot weather. I will be prepared to race my CRT.5 and rc18t inside if it comes down to it. I really don't want to give my truggy a mud bath like I gave my revo at last years bash.
