Reckon the motor would heat up much if I changed to an 8XL wanderer from my 9XL purple can? On 14 cells with my current gearing taking into account voltage drop etc that'd net me 40mph, which is my target.
Btw Serum you were right, the stock shocks are good for bashing, going to stick with them unless I get a deal I can't refuse on some LST2 ones or something. For some reason it doesn't bottom out off a 5ft jump, but is soft enough to go over the rough terrain I set my Emaxx up for just as good. And the Emaxx bottomed out from a 2ft drop.

Did you get the LST setup from the UK company?
Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

Haven't got the LST ones yet, was talking about the stock ones performance.
Yes I'm giving serious thought to the conversion the british company makes, least they'd get here within a day or two :) Looks solid enough, just the shocks are so expensive..been offered a full set inc postage for £50, plus £20 for the mount kit..oh so tempting. What do you think?

Think you've got a good enough throwing arm to reach the UK? :)
Think I'm gonna put some LST2 shocks on it..mostly because..well.why not. They look very cool, apparently are a lot stronger than savage ones, and should make it handle a little nicer. Did I mention they look cool on a Savage? :)
