I'm running the 4800kv 50mm long V2 in my Rustler (maybe 4lbs. or so?) geared 25/87 (9.5:1 FDR roughly), and the thing gets to around 130F after a hard run in the middle of the day (mid 80s; I'm in South Florida and summer is starting to set in with a vengeance). I don't know if that's even close enough to be a comparable load, but the little bugger can pull some gearing (I'm going to try 27/87 in a few minutes; hopefully my lipo won't hit cutoff from such a large load).
Sorry that rchover is out of 'em; the thingy said it was "in stock". They LIED!!!!
Ok, so I just got back inside (yeah, I run my truck late sometimes...that's why I picked electric...

). I had the truck geared 27/87 (8.764:1 FDR roughly), and holy crapola! I ran for about 13-15 minutes before I decided to go back inside. Here are my results.
Conditions:
-Night
-Slight Breeze
-75F-78F outside (let's say 76F)
-Lots of WOT passes, wheelies, rolling wheelies, a locked slipper clutch, a donut here and there
Temperatures after about 13-15 minutes:
Motor- 108F (

)
ESC- ~98F
Battery- 115F (outside of case); 130F (bare cells out of their case, pushing them a little hard I think, but it's staying relatively balanced with cell 1 being 3.764v and cell 2 being 3.761v)
Mamba Max Settings:
-Low start power
-6.0v cutoff (2s lipo)
-Normal timing (10 degrees)
-Proportional throttle w/ reverse lockout
-65% brake
-50% reverse throttle
-0% drag brake or punch control
This little motor is a beast! (According to my simple speed calculator, the truck was good for about 40 mph when voltage fell to about 7 volts, so at the beginning of the run, the truck was probably good for close to 45 mph- it was freaky fast at the very least even though the speed calculator isn't perfect.)
