It could just be a high resistance or intermittent OC in one of the motor phases. I thought my sidewinder was stuffed yesterday till I pulled on the motor bullets and one came right off. It would work when I gave it a kick start otherwise it just cogged and didn't move.
If you're swapping ESC's maybe the coincidence is that it made better contact when pushing the connectors together with the MM. I would try another motor going straight into the MMM bullets - just holding it there to make contact if you don't have the right connectors - before assuming the MMM is no good.

I know its crazy ! a 9xl on 4s with 30c lipos geared 65/24 isnt exactly taxing it hard, but its the same setup I ran yesterday with a MM/bec @ 141º , so I could comapre. Im stoked !

I've had the same problem caused by a dodgy motor connector. I'm also a little weary of the big F bullets mounted straight to the mmm board - as if they could come of more easily, and break something on the way.

Thats why i paid the extra for EMS express to Perth. After all this time I didn't want to wait for slow delivery aswell. I did order from Impakt though (because they say they will be first), I wonder if the resellers are getting them this week...

I paid for express too when I purchased it the first time. It doesn't get emsed when it's being repaired though. At least it didn't when it was repaired the first time. Because mine is coming direct from castle and it is a repair I think I might beat you anyway so .

when you put the power wires/motor wires into the bullets on the board they are right against the case, theres no play room. Not sure if thats good or bad. I had to "open up/spread" a couple male connectors to get a tighter fit, also CC must have used new glue for the stickers lol the case held together much better.

I was running mine with a Nue 1512/1.5/D/F on a 4s Polyquest 25c 5000mah pack in a Mugen MBX-5 Prospec buggy.

As long as it will stay around 150 degrees I guess it's fine. If it starts climbing higher and higher I'm in trouble.

Summer here in alaska is almost over so I'm just going to finish the season with my mm and mgm's and give castle another year to work the bugs out of their baby...I have 2 of them comming and they will both be for sale as soon as they arrive.

GREAT NEWS!!! I checked the bullet connectors/connections on the MMM and sure enough there was a slightly loose one. Resoldered it and now it's running flawlessly. Thanks for the suggestion GT35R :)
