So why does it matter... What makes you guys think that the CC outrunners are going to be any better than the current quality outrunners such as axi? Theyre new to the outrunner scene.

Usually CC try to raise the bar a bit, and price lower than the competitors. And they often offer features that are not common either. Something to do with their business model I guess (opposite of maxamps...).

From what I have seen outrunners can definitely be improved, and I am sure that there are batter materials or mfg processes that can be applied to them to increase the power output and efficiency...

I guess we cannot say anything until they come out and someone tests them.

When are these motors due out? The thing in the picture said q1, 2009 so does that mean by the end of march? That is right around the corner.

Look on the castle website. There is a really small outrunner. I am guessing there are going to be more coming out.

Those are Neu outrunners, made for extremely small and light aircraft (that motor probably weighs about as much as the rest of the plane/heli).

Q1 = Jan-Mar
Q2 = Apr-Jun <<----- It's this one.
Q3 = Jul - Sep

They must have meant the first quarter of the new millenium. They have 241 years left to get them on the shelves!
