Lol, I still had the page up from when I checked earlier this morning and just refreshed and they changed it to 4/2. Wow, you would've thought they would've known they were delayed before a few hours ago. :032:

Delays on top of delays seems to be a recurring theme in the R/C world. They must think it makes people anxious and excited with the anticipation, but for me, it just destroys that companies' credibility.

I'm with you on that. I think the only company that is pretty good at releasing products shortly after introduction is Traxxas. Their XL-5 vehicles were out within a month of being introduced on their website.

Oh give em a break, there are always delays in production sometimes stuff happens, that are just out of their control, and believe it or not i will still order, because I trust the company to do what it does best, deliver a race quality chassis, as far as not having the website updated well, he really doesn't have to tell you anything does he? but instead they gave a detailed rundown on what is going to be offered.

I still like the part of the prices have not been set, but they will be,...lol

It's like in the movie the mask with jim carrey where he gets an estimate on the damage to his honda civic, and he comments that there is no price on the quote and the mechanics tell him not to worry, there will be,...lol

I can give him a break for not having the new stuff ready. However, to have completely stopped production on the old generation products while he was developing the new stuff leaves a gaping hole in availability of GMaxx products. What if someone has been wanting a single speed conversion for the past 3 months while it was unavailable? And now to find out the only change is that comes with different screws and still won't be available for nearly a month? What kind of crap is that? IMO, that's just poor business practice.

I can cut them some slack.. they do make great stuff right? I don't really care, as I have never used their products and have no plans to buy anything.

I'm just having fun here... but it is disappointing to see them dangle the carrot only to yank it away at the last second. It's just bad business as someone stated... poor decision.

Reminds me of Charlie Brown and Lucy? :D

Hmm..... *enters kill mode* That is very dissapointing, though I had a funny feeling something like this would happen when I got home and switched on the PC. As for bad business practice- not really, but it is nieve (sp) to set such a short release date for new products, with out leaving room for any problems that might crop up; I would rather have heard them say "15th April", then suprise us by reopening sooner on the 2nd. 'Tis a pain in the anus but I guess we'll just have to wait another fortnight.

Ok, so closer to 3 weeks than a month, but it's still more than 2 weeks. It still doesn't account for the fact that their existing products have been unavailable for several months now. That's the part that's absurd. You didn't see companies like Team Associated discontinue the TC3 when they announced the TC4, did you? Basically, we're going on probably 2+ months where GMaxx products have been completely unavailable.
