120 isn't hot at all. Nice truck, tomato!
|
Good, because now I'm going to get it hot and run some bigger pinions. What would you think is the hottest I should let it get?
|
keep it below 180 or so and you will be fine.

Hi Rob
If you clean your foams with reguler gojo or orange gojo( none gritty) hand cleaner. You will get better traction. We have used this for years in oval racing. Just rub it in real good & then wipe it off real good thaTS IT. If you have any ? you have my #. |

What kind of tires did you end up using to get it to hook up? I have that same problem with my dual BL Maxx. I have a spool in the rear right now and I am going to take that out because I think that will help it to track straighter under acceleration. Thanks. |
Lose the spool for sure, Johnny. Any small diameter difference between the tires will cause it to pull to the opposite side. A diff is what you need to keep it straight(and a strong steering servo with a stiff servo saver).

Mike's right loose the spool. Any on-road tire works great. Also have good luck with bowties, paqman, and nubz.
Thank you, Promod |
