That's the thing. I don't have any 4s. I'm still debating between the 36-50-2200 and the 36-60-2000. Originally I wanted to go with the 36-50-2200 because it's still only spinning at ~39k RPM. The 36-60-2000 is spinning at ~35k rpm, it woudn't provide much over nitro probably. Has anyone run buggy badlands? They look like a great all-around tire. Any input?

Only spinning at 39k? Dude, that's really fast. I usually shoot for 28k to 33k for my setups and I still beat the nitro's. The brushless motors have instant torque that the nitro's don't have, so that high end isn't always needed, especially when you only hit top speed once or twice on a track.
But if you already have 5s packs I'd go with the 2000-60, it'll prolly be a little more efficient than the 50 because it'll have an easier time pulling the buggy around, and it's only 1 ounce heavier than the 50.
Normally I'd recommend the 1600-60 for 5s (which would put you at 29,600 and give you great run times) but if you really wanna go that fast stay with the 2000.

What kind of runtimes would I get with the 2000? The 1600?

Sent the other MM in for repair- but the current repair/delivery time is 4 weeks! :gasp:

brushlessboy16 07.08.2008 05:17 PM

that sucks...

BL_RV0 07.08.2008 05:19 PM

Yep. All next week I'm going to be in Canada. That's good and bad- its a week to kill, but I'm going to miss the delivery of my buggy.

Takedown 07.08.2008 11:01 PM

The MM was shipped today. I sent you the tracking number and it was insured for $100.

Do you guys know the RCM motor mount will work on that buggy? I asked this question in the buggy forum...after 30 reads, no one replied.

I have the same buggy laying around and want to do the conversion as well. Keep us update pls.
