Mugen MBX4-RR Conversion! - 07.08.2008, 12:05 AM

Hey guys, new project here. Just bought this:

Planned setup will be: Medusa 36-50-2200, MM, 5s on 12/46 gearing with the Mugen MBX5 mount and custom battery tray. Here's the exported values.

Do you guys know if the Mugen MBX5 mount is compatible with the MBX4?

Dude, 5s with the Medusa 2200kv 50mm will be insane! You'd be better off running 4s, it'll still be plenty fast and torquey. It's what I'm running in my 8ight buggy and it's a great setup. If you already have 4s batteries give them a try before you go 5s.

5s with the 2000kv 36-60 is the perfect setup. 4s will be to low of voltage for my tastes...

Direct drive is kinda a thing of the past right now ben. Its not efficient but has power and most people want a balance between the two.
