You will love the mbx-5R...I have a mbx-5 and it is almost bomb proof. Very durable and fun to drive..

I actually haven't gotten anything yet. The last one I looked at was, as we say, rode hard and put away wet. Would have needed just about every part replaced (for example, the shocks had about .080 slop - you could see daylight when you moved them).
He also had an Eight, but was asking way too much for it.

I think I will keep holding out for an Eight. I'd like to have something that I can get parts locally, rather than having to wait for a week for them. There are several for sale to the south of me, but I havent had time to get down there to look at them.

Patience is something I wish I had more of. I’m an impulse buyer most of the time. I really like the 8ight I have. Can't compare it to any other buggies due to the lack of experience but I think you have a ball with yours. It’s been a lot of fun. Brought a different aspect to the hobby after all I did was MT's. Guess I am a bit anxious for you to get a buggy to and see what you think. Don't remember if I mention before that we have "67" in common.
