Turn the ccbec around so that the input wires go between the MM and the ubec. Leave a bit more space between the ccbec and the mm, like 1/4 - 1/2 inch. That way you can put the output wire of the ccbec in the loom and it will be kept away from the input wires. I have a setup that looks identical save for the ubec is oriented as I suggest, and it works fine, FM radio too! Plenty of range, no issues.

The CCBEC is a little noisy from tests. I would at least try relocating temporarily to see if that helps. Maybe even use an Rx pack just to see.
If the cogging/stuttering is worse further away, I would suspect radio interference. If range was not an issue, I'd look more at ESC settings. I assume the MM has version 1.2 firmware? That helps a lot. Then, increase start power (helps tickle the motor faster so the ESC can get a good commutation signal), and maybe increase punch control (help rule out low Q battery). |
