Is there any reason why not to use stock spur gear? I was succesfull in using hardened pinions with no problems.

There isn't any problem with using hardened steel on hardened steel gears, but that setup comes with an unecessary cost and weight that can be achieved using a regular steel pinion and a plastic spur gear.

I picked up the spur today at the LHS for 7$ not to bad.
It doesnt say what the pitch is?? Anybody have an idea what tooth pinion is need for an 8xl on 4s lipos?? |

Just found this out tonight, The center spur gear diff adaptor from JT racing is a perfect fit for the ofna 51T spur gears. The Diff adaptor from JT racing is for a Hyper 7 center diff case.
