Yeah, that's happened to me quite a bit of times, gets on your nerves when you have the whole day planned, for when you wait for that sneaky package!
|
Now thats taking the initiative! I've done the same with ice cream men, but not mailmen. What are you doing now? Just staring at the clock for another 2 hours? Or are you figuring out your mail carrier's route for future needs?
EDIT: Ben and I just scored 1/18th scales on a donation thread and so now our minds are ticking as well... its a little bit bigger than yours, but hopefully they all will be equally insane. It will be me with my rc18b, you with your micro dt and ben with his mini t |
I'd bet Mike knows every route for mail carriers in his city, maybe even state..

Well I have a vendetta, and I might get another one. Then I'll be able to drive with friends.
I'm working on my pocket bike to burn up time. Making a keychain deans switch, messing with the settings on the esc, cleaning up the wiring, making sure nothing's coming loose.... I'm waiting on a package for that too. I'll pick up a few bolts for mounting the sprocket on that when I go to pick up the package at about 2:40. Now I only have to wait for 1 hour and 51 minutes. |
A keychain deans switch?

Only 55 more minutes!! |
Ahhhhh I see I see. Cool.

Get the stuff yet?

Got er all.
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7301996.jpg What are in the little boxes, you might ask? http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7301997.jpg http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7301998.jpg Got it hooked up and everything. All I need to do is make a chassis, mount the servo, and mount the motors and I'll be ready to go. I soldered everything up and mixed the channels on my radio, and it looks like it'll work great. I just hope the motors have the same power and everything. If they don't, I'll have to connect the two shafts mechanically and hope it works. |
Awesome.

Oh god..........
Now if you did that with all 4 wheels... |
4WD MICRO T! Why aren't you doing this??!/!?
|
those are wheels with the motor built in for a micro T ? man thats the second coolest thing ive seen next to my wifes boobs, I may have to dig my micro T out of the tackle box and rethink the suckness factor of it.. Slap 'em on I gotta see more
|
This is the motor - http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8478
Shaft is 2mm, stock micro t axles are 1.5mm. I didn't think it would work but I was able to just slide the wheels on. I'll glue them to secure them.. On 2s it should be controllable, but on 4s |
