is a different scale ........ 1500gr with body vs 4000gr without body is a very big difference ........ if I use this electronic in a touring 1/10 and dont break/destroy the transmission provably I will pass this speed .....

A 1520/1Y 1600Kv should be better appropriate ? It hold high RPM better than the 1717. Anyway, good-luck and keep us posted !

thanks ..... provably first I will use a leopard 4282 2000kv +9s ...... and If I dont have the necessary power I will try with the 1717 :whip:

The Castle 1520/1Y is longer (handle more power) than the leo 4082 and with its lower Kv, you should even use it in 10S

the 1520/4282 have the same weight/power ...... 500gr and 3500w ...... of course the best option is a neu 1527 with 4500w, but is impossible for me pay 250usd for a motor

the 4282 is cheap and powerfull ...... another cheap beast are the leopard 5692/5682 .... 5500/4500w ..... If I need more power than the 1717 provably I will buy a 5692 1000kv  :whip:

this weeks I have many 1/8tt races ...... will wait 20 days for make the tests ......

? the 4082 is rated for 450gr, the 1520 is rated for 484gr. The rotor of the 1520 is a little longer so theoritically the 1520 handle more power. But the 4082 is a good choice too.
