Ive learned 1 important thing about rc, take your time with projects and do it right the first time. Less pain in the end by possibly ruining something, its also a bit more work , too.

i was thinking of running a hv maxx 4.5, should provide plenty of power but a little less run time, i think its 750 watts

ive been watching some of the other conversions and ill have to exp. with placement once i decide on a motor and esc

I have similar battery setup as yours and recommend putting some kind of angle pieces on the ends to keep the batteries from shift front-to-back. Even with straps, the batteries will shift enough to possibly interfere with the suspension arms.

Also, it looks like you are using round-head screws for the battery tray. If the metal isn't thick enough to use countersunk screws, I'd use fairly thick padding to keep those screw heads from wearing through the battery insulation and shorting them out.

i bet that for some, doing a conversion wouldnt be done as well as we would expected..

yeah the battery tray will be padded and battery secured with some sort of strap or zip tie to see what works and what costs more money

what do you think of the novak 4.5, i dont want to spend to much in case it doesnt work out

if you do want the novak get the HV one. it would be good because it can handle higher voltages...and would have more power.

thanks it would be the hvmaxx 4.5 system, the speed and accelaration should compare to my rb323 nitro but its is constant
