Well 1 motor sucks Big time.. With both motors and 2 3cell 4000 Venom Lipo 22/65 gearings it Insane fast I would say 55mph or so.. Its pretty nasty.. I will have video tommorow morning for everyone

I once had a dual brushless emaxx. It was probably the fastest and most uncontrollable truck I've built...it was a fun project:tongue:.

Nice Truck there. I have 2 new 3905 emaxx I am putting a 7xl on my other one with quark monster pro. should it that together next week

ssspconcepts 01.05.2008 11:01 PM

I thought about getting one of the new maxxs and making it as light as possible...seems like that would be a really fun project. Maybe goto a four shock setup with some UE spyder diffs, light rims, single BL, single servo, 4S....

BTW...Johnny Maxxima also has a dual BL system...but I haven't seen him on here for quite awhile.

Wow that is a sweet looking Maxx!! How much did you put into that beast?

TRAXROB 01.06.2008 05:03 PM

I'm thinking about doing this dual setup as well. Have you had issues with it heating up at that gearing? Other than the Y harness for the ESC's what else did you have to do to get them to work?

themadbaja 01.06.2008 08:05 PM

Heat is not and issues,. the beauty of 2 motors less strain.. all you need is the y harness and remove the red wire from one of the esc

TRAXROB 01.06.2008 08:10 PM

Nice, I can't wait to see that Vid. I'm very close to getting the twin V's. I think a nice video will put me over the edge.

themadbaja 01.06.2008 08:12 PM
