The hole to hole location for the MBX-4 diff mount is approximatly 24mm (0.95in). Could you please measure the RCM mount and see if it fits?

Just got back from Canada and found my camera as well. :party: Here's a pic with badlands installed. Now I need to install the servo, shocks, and remove the nitro stuff, and still wait for that $300 to come in.

RENE that sure is a nice buggy :gasp:. From what i remember the mbx5 mount does not fit the mbx4 . But im not 100% sure . Also the kyosho plastic spur will not fit the mugen. You have two choices, either use the stock steel spur & some hardened pinions from mike, or have mike make you a adapter so you can mount the kyosho spur on the mugen .

Ok guys, did a bit of work today. Got the front shocks mounted, as well as the servo and receiver. Take a look:

Ordered all the parts needed to finish!

Got my pinion, hopefully the conversion parts and MM come soon.

I am about to order the parts right now to convert my MBX4-XR. I will be running a Medusa 2000kv with a MMM ESC and a Airtronics 358 servo. I will be using the cheap zippy packs. My question is, should I got for two 3s, or two 2s, or just go for one 4s,5s, or 6s? This car will not be raced other than drag racing so weight distrubution is really no concern unless it will greatly affect handling with one big pack. Would a 16t be sufficient on a 4s without overheating? What about if I step up to a 5s, or 6s.

I'd go with a 4s and gear for ~40mph. Try Brian's calculator if you havem't already.

I already had the 5s ordered, should I cancel and go with a 4s instead, or would the 5s be dandy with the 2000kv medusa on a 13t or 16t pinion?

Personally, I'd get a 1600kv medusa w/ 5s than a 2000kv medusa w/ 4s.
