anyone know if the $99 kits are still available?
|
Interesting, still can't find an official BL version of the CRT.5 from Hongnor or Jammin.
But Jamara, the German importer of Hongnor, offers a CRT 5 E. Strange  |
1/12 CRT can't pick up that's scrt10 took over.
As far as I know hong nor won't produce a crt E. |

I know, but normally they just distribute the Hongnor stuff, that's what puzzled me.
Slap a "Jamara" sticker on the box, put a different manual with different part numbers into the box (so you can't get the parts cheap and readily available from the US, at least that's their plan) and up the price by 50%. |
Finally uploaded a vid of the CRT.5 in action.
I've got 7/10/3 oils in the diffs at the moment and they're a bit heavy I think. Blew the rear right tyre off the rim near the start of the vid. Cheers. |
The CRT.5 looks like a lot of fun. What setup are you runnning in it?
Do you have any pictures especially with the body off? Nick |
So thats what those other plastic pieces are for! I had no idea! I ended up drilling out the chassis and mounting the battery tray straight to it.

Hi nastety92, Sure, the car in this thread is mine. Just head back to page one.
silentsnow31802, Yeah, I mounted the batt tray straight to the chassis as well to avoid the extra height. Interesting that it could be done with no drilling though. Was just reading on the linked thread (below) that perhaps a Jammin 1/10 truggy is in the works to compete with the Ofna Hyper 10TT. Interesting to look out for that too! http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...brushless.html Haven't read it all but it looks like a good and current thread. Cheers. |
