Thats great! Maybe I'll be making an expensive and high end motor purchase a lot sooner than I thought. :027:

AAngel 06.15.2007 07:08 PM

Oh man, what news!! When that happens, I think I'm going to relegate my Quark to backup duty, behind my other four MM escs.

I'm wondering if Mike will start taking preorders. LOL

I also wonder if Mike might be able to just order a bunch of them with the 5mm shafts.

bdebde 06.16.2007 01:13 AM

Yeah, the 5mm shaft option would make things easier for wider gearing range.

Mike will be carrying the Lehners once again- FlightPower is the new distributor of Lehner Motoren and Mike said they're working to support him with the lehners. He says it's a matter of weeks befor they become instock!

I'm glad he's able to restock them again.

I think he'll be carrying a full line of FlightPower's lipo packs.

Wow...best news I've heard in just about forever. I've been waiting for my 1950 for about 8 months now and my 1530 for about 3.

Do you know how long the wait would have been for you if you had just ordered a motor with a 4mm shaft?

Considering that the Neu motors require relatively expensive controllers, the Lehner motors seem like the best choice for a good motor.

Hi Angel, the problem is that Lehner builds the motor just on-demand. When You put the order to the Hydro&Marine, they send the order (whatever it is for a "stock" motor or modified by special request, like the mine for a 5mm axle) the first friday after the order date, then Lehner took two weeks to built the motor and the, finally, the motor will be shipped.

Bye

two weeks is doable. 8 months is kinda long..

captain harlock 06.17.2007 11:52 AM

I just hope that Mike will get them here in time.

Yea...it is kind of long. But, I guess its ok since its also brought the MMM closer as well. Either way, I hope Mike does get them soon. I know he works hard for us and I know its not his fault. I am just tired of waiting though.

AAngel 06.17.2007 04:05 PM

If getting a 5mm shaft means a two week wait, I'm good with that. I've been waiting much longer than that for equipment that I had to return because it didn't work. I am anxious to try out a Lehner. I've never heard of a shaft sliding out of a Lehner, or a motor being mislabeled.

bdebde 06.17.2007 06:22 PM

Lehner has the turn number stamped in the endbell, at least mine did.

mine too. which is good, because the hand-written number on the label has rubbed off.

captain harlock 06.18.2007 01:18 PM

All of them have that.

bdebde 06.18.2007 03:24 PM

I didn't want to say they all had it as I have only seen the one I have.

jhautz 06.18.2007 09:30 PM

Mine have it.

captain harlock 06.18.2007 10:21 PM

Nay, just forget it.....:005:
