What's up with the Lehners? -
05.27.2007, 01:03 AM
I've been waiting for 1950/6 for a while (7-8 months) and my 1530 for about a month.
The wait is annoying yea, but I know that isn't Mike's fault.
I did email him a couple times (once last week, once this week) and haven't gotten a response. I know it usually takes a little to get him to respond, but after a couple weeks with no response I have to wonder.
Just wondering if anyone can answer.

I dont thenk he even knows when. At this pont its kinda just wait and see. They have been telling him next week for months now. From the last note he sent to me when I asked a similar question it sounded like he was at his wits end with dealing with BK.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I was seeing about a Lehner too, since is looks like I'm stuck with running MM escs, but they've been out of stock forever. The only other place that has them in stock is a place that I refuse to do business with. I just ordered a Neu and will just hope for the best.

To keep a long story short;
Mike paid the motors/controllers to BK, and all of a sudden BK quit delivering lehner motors. (and the delivery wasn't top-notch to begin with.) So at this time, mike is in it bigtime (at BK) in terms of money and is f'ed..
He calls them on a regular base and they promise him to 'ship this week'. So far a few months have gone by and ~20 percent of the shipment showed up. (unexpected to say at least)

That sucks from Mike's position, really sucks! They can't go on screwing him forever, or can they?

Not from a legal point of view.

Wow...that really sucks. No wonder he wants to avoid the topic. Well, I hope BK "mans" up (even though its just a company lol) and sends Mike/us the stuff...

I just didn't want to look at it from a "legal" standpoint. International laws and arguments over jurisdiction is enough to make anyone cringe. I'm sure that when dealing with a company like BK, there has to be some fine print someplace wherein it is stated that by doing business with them, you also agree to the jurisdiction wherein contractual disputes are to be settled, and guess where that would be for BK. Of course, I'm must guessing.
I really do hope that things work out for Mike and the rest of you. I'm not nearly patient enough to have waited this long.
I wonder how "he who must not be named" gets his Lehners. He always seems to have them in stock? Either he's getting new stock, or it's old stock because no one will buy from him any longer. LOL.

Well, HE is trying to become the one and only official agent of lehner motors and BK controllers. That's what I've understood from Mike a long time ago.
I too would not like to have business with that "nameless dude".
He once offended my Country and the whole of the Middle East. Well, no need to go on details.
If, God forbids, Mike is no longer able to get motors from Lehner, what shall he do?
Neu is our only hope, I guess, but the Mamba Max/ Neu thingy is quite irritating. If only Neu could make some 2 pole motors version of the 15 series and the 19 series....
The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!

Due to recent events, we want to inform our customers that we are parting with our distributor BK-Electronics.

BK and LMT -

On the lehner site it says that bk will no longer be a distributor, but all the sites they recomend are in german or japanese. (axis of evil all over again! )
Lehner wont answer my e-mails, even though I'm complaining about not being able to buy their products. 'The nameless one' can kiss my booty, and he doesnt carry the hi-amp variants anyway, and will b!tch at you for wanting to put it in a buggy!!! Poo on both!!! :mad:1
The best motor for the money is the one you can actually BUY. (maybee more than once even)
I have a Neu coming to mate with my Quark.
Best motor MY money can buy!

In my opinion the Neu is about the best motor any money can buy.
They rock.
it seems that cf has got some issues with the delivery of bk as well...
