Well, I radared the truck, with the 13.5 novak, stock 20t pinion and the 5000ma pack I got 13mph. It is faster than most rock crawlers, but it still crawls great due to the sensored motor. It will wheely, and I have abused it quite a bit. Runtimes are stupid, I have not drained a pack yet, and have about 45mins on it. I bought a novak crawler esc, as the ss does not have the neutral brake, and is a bit slow to go into reverse. Otherwise the ss esc is great, does not get hot, and the internal bec has plenty of juice to run both 645 servos and move the wheels even at standstill. The kit has a bunch of parts, and some steps real require 4 hands to do. But I love building kits, and it was fun to do. If you decide to go with rear steering, you will need another servo saver. I do not use the servo savers, just the plastic arms that came with the 645 servos. I had to trim them a bit, but all of the linkages work fine. I set the rear with less throw than the front, and it can cut donuts like a full sized monster truck.
