It would be neat if you can plot two motors over eachother.
|
Not to change the work you've already done, but what about using a CSV file instead? That should be independent of Excel version since it's just plain text seperated by commas, yet easily opened by any version of Excel. Excel adds all kinds of special characters (for formatting, controls, etc) in the file when saved as XLS, which may (and apparently does) change based on the version. Just an idea...

Not to mention the Excel file format is proprietary...

I will add CSV as default and alow to use both formats. |
What would be the best way to compare motors?
Plot them at constant power or at constant voltage or both? |
Can you make something like this in the software;
voltage 16V, drop on 100A = 3.2V (the reds are variable, perhaps a nice feature to switch on and off, with default being off?) This would give a realistic idea. |

Current version has fixed value of 0.025 Ohms for wires, connectors and battery combine resistance. I am working on making them user editable and preview screen as well. But I can do that your way as temporary for now. |
Yeah, it's rather handy, based on the measurement most of us can do with relative cheap equipment (eagletree) we don't need to look up the rho etc.. i think the internal resistance would make it too complicated.

Well, I add couple things and with help from my Russian friends change interface a little bit...
-Cursors -Comparison -NOVAK motors -MotoCalc import -Export -CSV instead of XLS |
