Been running the 3800kv 1410 in my Losi 810 conversion for over a month now and it's doing great. Running on 3s. Of course this buggy is significantly lighter than a standard 1/8 buggy. It's weighing in rtr at just under 6lbs. Don't think it would do to well in a normal 7+lb buggy. But if the performance I've been getting from the 1410 is an indicator I'm bettin the 1415 would probably fo the job in a lighter 1/8 buggy if it was geared reasonably.

Very Good Idea !!! 5mm on the 14xx Motors

We just did a Eagle Tree Logrun with the 1410 from the SCT Kit

close to 800 Watt on 2S running Indoor on my SC10 :surprised:

I just threw the eagletree on my Slash 4x4 with the 2400kv

1237 watts on 3s (6000mah 25c Turnigy Nano), gps speed 50 mph

1980 watts on 4s (5000mah 40c Turnigy), gps speed 60 mph

Of course this won't delay my purchase, I can run 3mm till the "option" kit comes out....

We are currently looking into getting a 5mm rotor "upgrade" put together for the 1410 and 1415. We will most likely not have a 5mm version of those motors in the near future, but the upgrade rotor shouldn't take long to get. It was brought up in the last tech support/engineering meeting and everyone was in agreement to move forward.

The earliest I would expect to see anything hit the market would be 6-8 weeks (in a perfect world). I'm going to keep on top of this project and make sure it doesn't get stalled. It really is fairly simple for us to produce, we just skip the step where they machine down the output shaft to 3mm. We also need to get artwork and packaging put together, but that's fairly easy as well. I will post any pertinent updates as they become available. Thanks!
