Since I couldn't solve the drive line puzzle with the Mugen's it will be another 6s machine, geared for lower to mid 50 mph range. Same speed range I was shooting for on 8s, but without want for more torque ever, and without the amp draw getting out of hand.

My current FLM maxx is geared for upper 40's on 6s with a castle 1420 motor and there are times I wish I could pull a bit more trigger, and it's temp is into the 160's after a pack so there isn't much left in it;) It's funny how as you get acclimated to power increases you want more.

8s on an EMaxx puts you well into the clinical definition of INSANE!! I suggest a chassis extension(maybe the 50mm for this power house).

My big maxx runs 8s with a Neu 1521:yes:

Damn buzzsaw, just saw that you're in Minnesnowta too. Too funny.

If I roll at around 20-25mph and floor the throttle my truck will do a full backflip back onto it's wheels.

Standing backflips are for rookies.

Nice truck!

No plans to recreate the Strobe braces - neat, but not necessary IMO. Also need different braces for a different tower thickness.

I agree, I've never had a breakage there.

And a Monster is born!

Need to tidy up the wiring and throw some paint, but she is operational!

Thanks for the surprise package Mike, took a second to figure out the little ring but it works awesome, it should be an offered part in the store. I'd buy two more in a heart beat!

Cant wait to get home from work tomorrow, and give this thing a shake down run

Looks good!
But now I am curius to see the ring, and for what you can use it?
