Sure why not. I power mine on 3s lipo.

Don't know what "how many 1" means. |
he was asking if you were only running one 3s lipo, which I asume you are only running one right?

john....do you get better run time from one 3s lipo then the stock 12 volt bat?...and is it a lil faster? |
I'm sure if you found some way to find larger RUBBER tires, and not plastic ones, the stock power would be plenty, no?

imo |
I've always found that intriguing.. They slap on plastic tires, that never wear out.. Huh
I guess 24V + Rubber Tires + Bump = Nice Big Bruise |

What kind of controllers do these things use? Are they capable of 24+ volts? I might snatch a couple controllers out of these things and build a bicycle. Is there a way to use our hobby ESCs in conjunction with the controller/reostat that they use so we don't need a reciever?

There is no controller in them. They either use a simple switch, or in some cases a relay and switch setup.
3s is about the same as a 12v lead setup, and runtime depends on the packs used. A 10ah lipo will run twice as long as a 10ah lead, because lead acid capacity is determined by a 1/10c discharge. The old 4ah 10C enerland packs I have, I run in 2p configuration. 8ah gets better than 45minutes of runtime with my butt on there, and enough punch to pull a wheelie if I am not careful about leaning forward. Generally these things are not run over 18v. Typical vehicles are 6v now, so guys that are running three packs are running 18v. |
