1600kv + 9-12s 35-90c 3300mah ........

steveo 06.11.2011 07:32 AM

use that motor torque to reach extreme speed unless you cant adjust the motor than yeah higher voltage but that motor is rated at 45000 rpm right

Hyper-5 06.11.2011 10:48 AM

ah k, lm looking at doin 6s 8000mha lipos each, but using a ATeking or Castle 2200kv or 2650kv, what would be better and why? and how come you chose such a low kv?

x-y 06.11.2011 07:40 PM

also the 1512 and 1515 are rated at 60.000 ..... and many people arrived at 80.000rpm without broken rotors ..... but using the 1717 I dont will arrive at 50.000 because is impossible ..... the force of the wind slow much the theoric rpm/speed ......

the 1515 2200kv is better thank te 2650 ........simply because is bigger and have more power/w

I tried using this motors and is impossible pass 110mph ........ using the 1717 + 9-12s Im sure I will pass 120mph

Bmr4life 06.14.2011 10:01 AM

Man, that road is great for high speed runs. Nice visibility.

bruce750i 06.14.2011 10:24 AM

I like the metal speed run body on it. Looks like something out of a Mad Max movie. The dust vapor trail looks great too.

mikeylama 06.14.2011 03:42 PM

Where did you got thoose 1/8 foam tires?

mamba max1 06.14.2011 05:49 PM

Man, you need a longer road! That thing is still accelerating hard by the time you have to slow down. :)

PBO 06.17.2011 05:49 PM

Whoa, it gets a bit light over that crest doesn't it! Love the safety googles too

Nice & fast miquelmahhhh - good to see

yzinger02 06.17.2011 09:28 PM

is a different scale ........ 1500gr with body vs 4000gr without body is a very big difference ........ if I use this electronic in a touring 1/10 and dont break/destroy the transmission provably I will pass this speed .....

nuz69 06.20.2011 04:04 AM

A 1520/1Y 1600Kv should be better appropriate ? It hold high RPM better than the 1717. Anyway, good-luck and keep us posted !

thanks ..... provably first I will use a leopard 4282 2000kv +9s ...... and If I dont have the necessary power I will try with the 1717 :whip:

nuz69 06.21.2011 05:07 AM

The Castle 1520/1Y is longer (handle more power) than the leo 4082 and with its lower Kv, you should even use it in 10S

the 1520/4282 have the same weight/power ...... 500gr and 3500w ...... of course the best option is a neu 1527 with 4500w, but is impossible for me pay 250usd for a motor

the 4282 is cheap and powerfull ...... another cheap beast are the leopard 5692/5682 .... 5500/4500w ..... If I need more power than the 1717 provably I will buy a 5692 1000kv  :whip:

this weeks I have many 1/8tt races ...... will wait 20 days for make the tests ......

nuz69 06.22.2011 04:15 AM

? the 4082 is rated for 450gr, the 1520 is rated for 484gr. The rotor of the 1520 is a little longer so theoritically the 1520 handle more power. But the 4082 is a good choice too.

of course the 4092 will be much better .... but sincerely my most important problem are the tyres ....... is very easy break the tyres at +110 mph :(

thanks

snellemin 11.16.2011 02:14 PM

Ipanema and GRP's is what I recommend for high speeds.

Thats what I have on my GTP but they don't grip that well, the back end is very loose.
