mugen prospec nue, quark, and 5s lipos
revo g-maxx plenty, mgm 2 2s lipos

Both trucks look awesome! Nice work. How are you liking the Plettenberg motor? Is it a Maxximum or Bigmaxximum?

super dave 03.29.2008 04:04 PM

i feel the motor is worth the investment very smooth and powerful (maxximum with fan) this motor is easy to get up here in the great white north eh.

How does the handling compare between the two trucks?

super dave 03.29.2008 05:38 PM

the truggy is better all round handling jumping and i can get a better and smoother run overall. i almost sold the revo before i did the conversion, meaning the best result was the sway bars and good tires, then i was very happy with the revo !!! i didn't want to put a big block motor the weight is too much for the track i feel. i did the g-maxx and trans and bl now i really enjoy the revo !! i will drive the revo more then the truggy ! the truggy is stable smooth and fun to drive at the track.

suicideneil 03.29.2008 05:50 PM

Hm, I like. Interesting how much chunkier the revo is compared to mugen, given they are more or less the same size. What are the weights like between the two?

super dave 03.29.2008 07:05 PM

the truggy is a bit heavier then the revo, both just around 9.5 lbs.

great trucks you got!!!! I'm thinking of getting the tekno swaybars for my revo is it worth it? I use my two trucks for racing as well.see my signature

Is that with the extra battery cell? If you ran 4s in both would that even the weight out do you think? 1515 is probably slightly heavier than the plettenburg as well.
Anyway nice cars. I'm more of a truggy fan, so I like the mugen most.

Hi Super Dave,

I really like the pair of trucks you have there. Looking good. I see that you are using blue balloons to protect the receivers from splashes of water & moisture yes ? I must learn from u.

Regards,
Joe Ling

i saw a big differnce with the sway bars right away and had to change my driving style a bit, yes a big plus on the sways,i don't bash but i can say big difference at the track

super dave 03.30.2008 01:54 AM
