very little steering when installed flm steering blocks
hey guys i just ordered a set of the flm steering blocks (carriers... whatever you call them?)
and when i put them on i realized how little steering i have. it goes maybe 10 degrees left and right... the flm arms make it this way. anyone know what i am doing wrong? thanks. ill get a video if you guys dont understand. |
what truck ? post the vid or a pic, upside down backwards loop-d-loop ?

o woops.
a rustler heres a pic of how little room it has. ill attach the video when it uploads. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k9...2/CIMG0031.jpg |
it looks like you have a rear bearing carrier and not a steering block, I have been looking for a pair of aluminum steering blocks and all I have been able to find are the ones Traxxas makesand they are out of stock in many places that normally carry them I went to addicted2rc's site and all they had was the rear bearing carriers

Thats for sure a rear knuckle....
A front looks like this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXPXU9&P=ML |
strc makes nice stuff for the pede/rustler, they make most things you would need. Amainhobbies.com has the steering blocks and hubs etc instock

Looks to me like he's missing the caster block.

If it were there, he'd also have a camber link installed. But there's none to be found. The steering block would be mounted higher than the arm, which would prevent it from hitting.

Camber link is on top... Its there, the knuckle is a rear hub, but a actual knuckle......
here, look close in these pics http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12343 |
Oh geez, I didn't know this was from underneath! Haha. It does look like a rear hub, though!
*embarrassed* |
