It's only 2WD for now but soon it will be 4WD with a fan on the ESC and FLM bulks as well. so it's not compleat, but i can still run it!! It's 13lbs and has RPM upper and lower arms all the way around. I also made my own costom wheelie bar, 3.3 slider shaft for the center, ESC mount, and a fan mount for the motor as well (soon i will have a costom fan mount for the ESC too). I have also installed 3.3 diffs, knuckles, and sliders all the way around. other than that, i installed the RPM true track conversion kit and the CC BEC.

so i know it's not compleat but, what do u guys think?

Take it out and get it dirty :)

brushlessboy16 06.11.2008 05:45 PM

u need a slipper cover ;)

A RC Dude 06.11.2008 09:10 PM

Robert, i tryed but my batts didn't run well at all. i'll try again tomarrow after i charge and discharge the batts a few times. Thay have been sitting for a long time.

Brushlessboy, i tryed to put my gear cover on but it wouldn't fit becouse of the screws holding it on the slipper are sticking out too far.

BL_maxx 06.12.2008 03:54 AM

what motor is that???

jnev 06.12.2008 10:29 AM

I am pretty sure it is a Feigao 9xl...

A RC Dude 06.12.2008 10:43 PM

Yup, jnew got it just becouse we know each other on another forum

A RC Dude 06.13.2008 05:17 PM

well i got a good chance to run it today. and the batteries aren't performing too well. the problem is that it has the same amount if not a tinny less power now than it did when it was running with brushed motors! the top speed is pritty much the same tho. and on top of that, the fan got jamed so i had to unplug it. when i unpluged it, the motor got up to about 160 degrees wile the ESC was only running about 150 or so. the only thing worse than that is that the batteries got up to about 210+ degrees!

A RC Dude 06.13.2008 09:26 PM

well, i ran it again today! it's running a little better except for the overheating. i didn't get it run it long tho becouse of this:

well, i fixed the drive shaft and now my MM ESC is fried again!

DRIFT_BUGGY 06.18.2008 05:29 PM

Looks good, how many times have you fried your MM?

A RC Dude 06.20.2008 10:22 PM

3, one time it was my MM motor in my rustler that coused it. the 2nd time was also in my rustler but the motor was perfictly fine. this last time it did it with my 9XL.

and BTW, the maxx is 4WD now and has a pritty good wheelie bar that i just made to replace the old 1

skellyo 06.20.2008 10:26 PM

Did you bypass the internal BEC on the MM? It sure looks like you didn't from the pics in your original post.

BL_maxx 06.21.2008 12:58 AM

yeah it doesnt look like you did and you also have the ubec on there too.

A RC Dude 06.21.2008 05:50 PM
