Do you guys know if the Mugen MBX5 mount is compatible with the MBX4?

Takedown 07.08.2008 12:43 AM

DAMN YOU! I just had dibs on that same buggy... Anyways good luck with the conversion. Looks to be yet another killer setup!

BL_RV0 07.08.2008 12:44 AM

Thanks?

Takedown 07.08.2008 12:45 AM

It was a compliment. Didnt mean to be harsh but that was one helluva deal!

BL_RV0 07.08.2008 12:46 AM

I know. Just trying to "spark come interest." I really hope the MBX5 mount works with the MBX4.

wow that was a good deal, and you got the noisey engine to sell off

Matthew_Armeni 07.08.2008 01:26 AM

Dude, 5s with the Medusa 2200kv 50mm will be insane! You'd be better off running 4s, it'll still be plenty fast and torquey. It's what I'm running in my 8ight buggy and it's a great setup. If you already have 4s batteries give them a try before you go 5s.

5s with the 2000kv 36-60 is the perfect setup. 4s will be to low of voltage for my tastes...

Direct drive!

Takedown 07.08.2008 09:16 AM

Direct drive is kinda a thing of the past right now ben. Its not efficient but has power and most people want a balance between the two.

Actually, the engine did not come with the truck.
