what cap should I use?
I'v got the stock cap that comes with the RS pro, and 2 35v 1200uf caps, witch one/ones should I use?? its a slash with 2s lipo.
Whats the stock one rated at?
IDK what its rated at, I know its 16v...
16v should be fine for a 2s lipo setup, I dont imagine tekin would stick a tiny uF value cap on their escs, so probably something like ~1000-4000uF as the stock item- might be worth checking their website (should say on the cap itself though so long as it isnt covered up with a sticker).
so should I use the stock ones, or one of the bigger ones I have?

its better to use a series of smaller caps as opposed to 1 larger one
Better to use a couple paralleled together, though it depends on the uf value. 2 x 2000uf is better than 1x 4000uf, but without knowing what the stock one is, I wouldnt like to say if the spares would be better or not.
I didnt mean to wire them in series, but to have a series of them ( more than 1) sorry for any confusion

Axjc, if it makes you feel any better, I read it as you meant it. Must be the "special" English those wackos on the other side of the pond use.
J/K Neil. |
I knew what he ment too actually, just wanted to clarify for other people's sake (who come from 'that forum' and dont know the difference between series, parallel, ass or elbow)
