what cap should I use?

I'v got the stock cap that comes with the RS pro, and 2 35v 1200uf caps, witch one/ones should I use?? its a slash with 2s lipo.

16v should be fine for a 2s lipo setup, I dont imagine tekin would stick a tiny uF value cap on their escs, so probably something like ~1000-4000uF as the stock item- might be worth checking their website (should say on the cap itself though so long as it isnt covered up with a sticker).

its better to use a series of smaller caps as opposed to 1 larger one

Better to use a couple paralleled together, though it depends on the uf value. 2 x 2000uf is better than 1x 4000uf, but without knowing what the stock one is, I wouldnt like to say if the spares would be better or not.

I knew what he ment too actually, just wanted to clarify for other people's sake (who come from 'that forum' and dont know the difference between series, parallel, ass or elbow)

i dunno what you chips an piss are salting over but I have 20 + of them if you need them but Neil seems to be alll ticked off, A sodding waker being a bolloks allgame tends to be a fooking sheite fer kar


in all serious'ness I have 30 + caps I over bought for these purposes but finally Pat coughed up his MMM so send me your addy ill ship them out,...Mike (his site) Has nice ones pre soldered for cheap, suggest you check there first
