Guys, just wondering if anyone of you ever own a RC4WD Crawler??? Cause I'm kind of want to get this 1/5 Large Scale Killer Krawler Kit for US$799.00 from RC4WD, any word??? THX!

Killer stuff.

That kit looks pretty good from what we can see in the photos. I guess we cold go and look it up on their site and check it out closer. From what I know of RC4WD they do ok. I have several sets of their EMaxx tranny gears & I have gotten a few other things from them without issue. I think from what I can tell they are a lot like RCM in that they do some custom work in their own shop, and piece out work to a local machine shop much like Fastlane. WIthout actually working with that kit is is hard to tell what you are getting as far as quality goes. I wouldn't mind getting one, but $800 is a lot of money right now for anyone to spend on toys. Then you also have to fill it with electronics and such which will be even more money to spend. If you do acquire this kit please come back and share your opinion with us here on RCM. It could be interesting to hear about for sure. Good luck with that.

I would post this question on rccrawler.com as you will probably get more feedback.

It is based on a clod - you could get a g-made for much less...

That one peaked my interest as well. I did some checking on the forums, but at the time could not find anyone who had one. It's quite a bit bigger that the G-Made stealth judging by the dimensions (almost 6 inches on wheelbase). As mentioned above it'll be over $1000 to finish it.

It is bigger then a G made Stealth but is still a motor on axle or MOA just like the Clod, Stealth, Berg, or Hot Racing MOA axles for the AX-10.

hi guys, the junfac stealth is a good crawler but since i already got the spider with 2 spare chassis(stealth & g1) i think i'll try to get something else...and the main reason is that the junfac gearbox is knid of weak...but the rest of the crawler is pretty good, wasn't bad for that price!!!

Looks pretty neat, does it come with metric hardware and is it machined or moulded?

are the gears etc included?

From what I can gather everything is included. I am sure the cases are case, then machined where necessary. Definately a big truck, with a 22"+ wheelbase. Most super class rigs are 17" maxx for the wheelbase. I am working on a clod axle based truck and those axles mook similar, but better designed. The motor is higher up so ground clearance, especially at the back should be much better. MOA (motor on axle) trucks are better in most respects than shaftys, as the weight is lower and the lack of driveshafts opens up different chassis and linkage opportunities.

there are several methods that you can use. 1) buy her something nice as cover for what you really spend your money on:yes:. 2) make the purchase and tell her that it is an early Birthday present:party:. 3) put your foot down and tell her who is boss:rofl::diablo::whip::rofl:.
