Are 5.5 bullets big enough? Splicing wire sugestions.

I was thinking of buying the cc 6.5 bullets for my batts and esc but is it overkill?. I also am thinking of buying some hc 5.5 or 6.0mm bullets because I can get a good quantity for alot less money. Are the hc 5.5mm or 6.0mm bullet enough for my high speed build? I dont want cause any problems if I dont use good enough bullets. Atleast are they better than trx plugs ?

I also need to redo the connections on my neu 1515 1.5d . Two of the wires seem to be connected good, nice and slim with shrink wrap. One wire looks terrible and like its soldered side by side. Is there a good certain way too splice 2 wires together so it looks nice and neat? I also was thinking of putting bullets on the wires coming out of the can and plud my wires into it and the esc. But I was thinking this might cause too much resistance. IDK Help me with links or pics of your setups if you can.

Butt joint the wires- just tin them up, offer them up to eachother, then apply the iron et voila, nice solid and straight joint. If this is an MMM v3, then I would do that with those wires that plug into the esc, so you essentially have long leads coming directly from the motor with the 6.5mm bullets on the end that plug into the esc.

You can also buy special butt joint connectors (ebay)- stick the wires in either side then offer up the iron- creates a solid tube that covers & protects the joint.

I just use the yellow butt connectors: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2103512

Take the yellow sheathing off and tin them so there's solder on them. You may have to spread them open a tad (they are split down the middle) to fit the wire. Once done, heatshrink the whole connection and you're good to go.
