Nice build, which motor and ESC are you planning to use?
Which diffs are those? HB lightning?

Subscribed. Cool truck! I see you are using Revo upper a-arms, is that because RPM Maxx upper
a-arms didn't clear the shocks when using the nonGmaxx lower arms(truetrack in this case) with GorillaMaxx suspension extenders and towers?

getfrey-80 11.19.2009 06:44 PM

1) RPM maxx upper arm weight 36 gram, revo upper arm weight 16, total revo minus 20 gr., 4=80gr. It's good.
2) I wish to make similar, but in plastic

I was thinking of cutting the outside hoops off the rpm arms to lighten them up. But not sure how it will affect the strength and stability. Nice to see another g-maxx build.

rivermaxx, what cvd boots are you using on your outdrive cvds, meant to ask you last sunday at the races, need to get some.

Rivermaxx 11.21.2009 06:03 PM

Hot bodies boots are a better longer lasting boot. The ones on my truck are not very good.

So yes they clear but you use revo uppers because they are lighter?

Could be, or it could be because that way, it looks more like the G3.3 suspension... only in plastic not aluminium...

DAMMIT!!!!! you found out why I did it on my build:diablo:

CHECK THIS OUT

suicideneil 11.24.2009 11:47 AM

Mmm, orange...

Integy sell something similar too, as do a few other obscure places (FastTrax?)- I believe he wants plastic specifically though as its less likely to bend and get damaged compared to the beautiful metal arms..

Sounds middle eastern, but why not? I've never heard of them except for the fact that I've seen them there on Stormer for years.
