NEU 1515H 1.5D F in a slash
 

Can anyone tell me if a NEU 1515H 1.5D F 5mm 2700 Kv Brushless Heli Motor will work in a 2wd slash. I know this is a heli motor but does that make a difference. I was running a 2200kv mamba monster system but I put it in my Ofna lx1E. I am only asking because I can get a deal on this motor brand new for pretty cheap. I plan on using a Mamba Monster or a BK esc on 3-6s. Also I noticed the shaft for this motor seems a little long but I assume it won’t hurt to cut it a little shorter. I would think this set up should be faster than the VXL. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:smile:

it'll work. you'll just want to seal up the holes in the can so you don't get debris on the inside.
