NEU 1515H 1.5D F in a slash

Can anyone tell me if a NEU 1515H 1.5D F 5mm 2700 Kv Brushless Heli Motor will work in a 2wd slash. I know this is a heli motor but does that make a difference. I was running a 2200kv mamba monster system but I put it in my Ofna lx1E. I am only asking because I can get a deal on this motor brand new for pretty cheap. I plan on using a Mamba Monster or a BK esc on 3-6s. Also I noticed the shaft for this motor seems a little long but I assume it won’t hurt to cut it a little shorter. I would think this set up should be faster than the VXL. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it'll work. you'll just want to seal up the holes in the can so you don't get debris on the inside.
