looking for 5mm 48p pinion
anyone know where to get these? I ordered one from dan @ kershaw but its going to be awhile he is waiting on the gears to come in. I'd like if someone else would make them also. (hint hint mike) If anyone knows where else lmk please.

Just get a negative bore reducer.
Seriously, I have no idea. |
A 32-pitch spur might be a better idea.

yeah it would be if I could find one that could fit with a decent ratio. smallest spur I've found is 56t and that a good bit bigger than the stock 72t 48p ,so that would mean I'd have to run a really small pinion. not what I'm looking for. phil |

What size pinion are you running now?
|
right now I'm running a 30t pinion.

Then run a 23 tooth pinion that gives you a 2.435:1 where the the 72/30 gives you an even 2.4:1.

That would be great if it would fit. I suppose you mean a 32p. problem is they are too big to get any decent ratio. There just isn't enough adjustment.

what car?
|
Probably his TC4 (in his sig)...
|
yeah its for the tc4, thought I had that in the thread but didn't.

Dan @ Keshaw Designs and SDP-Si.com are the only places I know of that sell them. I had a 21 or 22 tooth brass pinion that was 5mm bore but the grub screw rounded out and I had to cut the gear off. If I still have the gear you can have it and use some loctite 604 to stick it to your shaft.
