MMP w/sensored motor
Righto guys. Ill be purchasing the Slice chassis for my slash, & because the tranny is reversed, ill have to reverse the throttle position. But because ill be using a sensored motor in SmartSense mode, will this still work with a sensored motor?
|
Not 100% positive, but I believe the link software item "motor direction" will still work.
|
Yes it does - I had to reverse the direction for my Ve8 - I'm using the Tekin T8 and MMP. Just reverse motor direction using Castle Link and you'll be set.

What T8 Motor are you running? How's that working for you? I've been wanting that same setup myself. I've been running a Novak 6.5 Sensored Motor with my MMPro and it works great. |
Hey,
I'm running the 1400KV on 6S. I've got 3 additional caps (35V, 220UF, 105° each), and I'm not using the onboard BEC. I haven't had much chance to test it yet - it's too wet and cold over here, not to mention that there are no 1/8th races going on in the winter. It is powerful enough to wheelie, and is pretty quick, so it looks good. |
Hi,
I'm now a bit confused. When I run sensored with CHEAT, does the Sensorless Motor Timing (in Castle Link) have any effect? |
I think so because that would be Timing over the whole rpm range whereas CHEAT alters timing at a certain rpm & above...
|
Anybody has some solid information about it? When I run sensored with CHEAT, does the Sensorless Motor Timing (in Castle Link) have any effect?
|
No. Cheat mode requires sensored only mode.
