IN need of a lipo charger
 

i need a lipo charger. i am new to lipos and need to know which kind to get. needs to be cheap but get the job done. or if anyone is selling theirs for a cheap price. i will consider buying it.

Will do upto 6s lipo, 5amp charge rate, built in balancer, lots of great reviews, good customer support from Hobbypartz too. Limited to 50watts so if you charge larger than 3s packs it will take anything upto about 3 hours ( 6s 5000mah for example ), but for typcial 2-3s lipos you're looking at about 1-1.5 hours tops.

Cheaper options are available, but they either need a seperate powersupply, or lack features & adjustability.

Not the cheapest but a Hyperion EOS0606i ac/dc is a great starter charger. Not the most powerful but it will do any kind of battery and it doesn't need a separate power supply, easy to use, and full of options

iCharger 106B+ is what I use. Good balance between price and performance. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a Hyperion, but the price tag reflects that, and it can still do just about anything you'd want; charge data graphing and logging, updatable firmware, super accurate balancer. A-main sells this under their Pro-Tek line. Definitely worth a look.

The Thunder ac6 is what alot of guys over on beatyourtruck have been using- a few have reported issues, mainly cold solder joints between the built in powersupply & the charger cicuit itself ( same issue with the skycharger ).

If Hobbyking is out of the question, and you want a quicker charger than all the 50watt limited ones, then have a general google around and read reviews- a ~150watt charger and suitable power supply would give quick charge times; I like the iCharger line up, been reading great stuff about them ( top name brand like Hyperion ).

I plan to buy a Icharger 208B soon.It has optional balancing board that you can connect multiple batteries.Down side for me is that my power supply is 13 volts 20 amps(260 watt) and the 208B is 350 watt charger.
