will 100Amp's be enough ?

Hi !

Would a 100A 12s turnigy esc be enough in a mcd 1/5 scale 4wd mt ? geared for 35-40mph on 12s ?

sounds fine to me. just remember that you will still need mechanical brakes.

worst case scenario, you might have to add a fan to the esc if you want to gear higher. i have seen this esc used before in 1/5 without any problems.

100A x 12 x 3.7V = 4440Watts
This should be enough to move it around. What motor are you going to use?
